Repairs are being made to a water line off CR 24 and Sherwood Highland Road near 181. Crews are on site and water is estimated to be restored in 3-4 hours. Residents in the area may have a temporary loss in water service.

Highway 98 Lane Closure
Beginning Monday, January 12, a northbound right-lane closure will be in effect or Greeno Road (Highway 98) between Plantation Boulevard and the entrance to the Eastern Shore Shopping Center near Starbucks during daytime hours.
The closure is expected to last approximately one week while crews construct a new turning lane for Chick-fil-A. This project is permitted through the Alabama Department of Transportation.
If possible, motorists are encouraged to use an alternate route between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily throughout the construction period. Businesses in the area will remain accessible from Fairhope Avenue, Plantation Boulevard, and other side entrances Traffic will be able to exit the Plantation Pointe Shopping Center, however, entry will be restricted during daytime construction hours.
