Scheduled Power Outage, Quail Creek

Fairhope Public Utilities will have a scheduled power outage on Thursday, August 20, from 8 a.m. to noon that will affect some residents in the Quail Creek community. Power will be temporarily turned off to the affected area while Fairhope Public Utilities’ Electric Department relocates electrical lines to allow for the demolition of the existing restrooms and mechanical room as part of the new restroom project at Quail Creek Golf Course. Only customers within the affected area will experience the outage. FPU crews have distributed door hangers to the affected properties to provide advance notice. During the outage, the Quail Creek Clubhouse will remain open for residents who need access to power. We appreciate your patience and understanding while our crews complete this work. Questions? Water crews are closing the road at S. Section Street between Pecan and Kirkman to repair a water main today (8/11) until 4pm. Detour on Fairland/Kirkman or Pecan Avenue.
