Starting A Business In Fairhope
Anyone wishing to start a business or do business in the city limits or police jurisdiction of Fairhope will need a Fairhope Business license. It is important before starting a business that owners also verify that the location of the proposed business is properly zoned for that specific type of business. Zoning information may be obtained from the Planning Department or from the Revenue Officer.
Business license applicants should fill out the form below and return it to the Revenue Officer at City Hall. All license fees are based on gross receipts. The form below can be completed and mail back to the Revenue Office with a copy of a current photo id and any certifications required or special license required by your specific profession.
The Revenue office is located at Fairhope City Hall, 161 North Section Street and is open Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The mailing address is P.O. Drawer 429, Fairhope, AL 36533.
