FAIRHOPE, Alabama — The City of Fairhope is pleased to announce the hiring of Colin McKern as the new Director of Golf at Quail Creek Golf Course. McKern brings a strong background in golf management and a clear commitment to enhancing the player experience at one of Fairhope’s most valued recreational facilities.

McKern is a graduate of the University of South Alabama, where he earned a degree in Business Management. His professional golf experience includes serving as Head Professional at Vestavia Country Club and Azalea City Golf Course. Throughout his career, McKern has earned numerous honors and awards and achieved his PGA Class A Membership, bringing both expertise and enthusiasm to his new role.

In his new role, McKern will oversee daily operations, expand programming opportunities, and continue improvements to course conditions and amenities. He will also work closely with staff to ensure Quail Creek remains a welcoming and enjoyable destination for golfers of all ages and skill levels.
