The City of Fairhope is pleased to welcome William Eringman as its new Assistant Public Works Director.

A lifelong Fairhope resident, Eringman brings nearly 20 years of engineering experience to the position. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of South Alabama in 2006 and began his career in geotechnical engineering and project management, overseeing infrastructure projects throughout the Southeast. In 2015, he joined the City of Daphne as Deputy Public Works Director, where he gained experience managing the essential services and operations that support a growing community.

In his new role, Eringman will assist in overseeing the City's Public Works Department and help ensure the continued delivery of reliable services to Fairhope residents.

"I am looking forward to using my experience to help make my hometown even better," said Eringman. "This is where my wife and I grew up and where we are raising our family. Being able to give back to the community that has meant so much to us has always been a goal of mine."

Eringman said one of his priorities is fostering a culture of servant leadership within the department.

"I am a people-focused leader," he said. "I want to make a positive difference in the lives of the people I work alongside and the community we serve."

The City of Fairhope is excited to welcome Eringman to Team Fairhope and looks forward to the experience, leadership, and commitment he brings to the Public Works Department.
