FAIRHOPE RECREATION CENTER POOL RENOVATION UPDATE

FAIRHOPE, Ala. –The City of Fairhope would like to provide an update regarding the ongoing renovation of the Fairhope Recreation Center Pool.

Construction remains underway and significant progress has been made on the project. During the renovation process, contractors identified unforeseen roof-related issues that required additional repairs before work could continue. Addressing these issues now will help ensure the safety, durability, and long-term success of the facility.

As a result of these necessary repairs, the anticipated reopening has been adjusted to approximately July 20, 2026.

The City understands the inconvenience this delay may cause, particularly during the summer season, and appreciates the community's patience as improvements are completed. The City remains committed to reopening a safe, reliable, and enhanced facility for residents and visitors to enjoy.
